Choose the Spanish you want to practise
For vocabulary at a particular level, choose from Spanish packs labelled A1 to C2 and organised by theme. For complete expressions, start with the 500 everyday Spanish phrases: introductions, travel, shopping, work and other situations. You can read the collection and hear individual pronunciation clips on the website before installing anything.
For example, ¿Quién es el último? means “Who’s last in the queue?” Learning that whole question gives you something to say in a shop; knowing the word for “last” is a different kind of practice. Choose the material for the situations you expect to meet.
The Spanish resource hub collects the word lists and guides. Pack levels help you select material; completing a pack does not certify a CEFR level.
Try the free starter selection first

Listen when you charge, or open the app
On iPhone, charging playback uses a Shortcuts personal automation. On Android, it depends on the app’s background and battery settings. Follow the setup guide for your phone; installing the app alone is not the whole setup.
The bilingual playback gives you the Spanish phrase, a pause, its English translation, another pause, then the Spanish again. You can also open the app and listen whenever you choose.
Downloaded packs can play offline. Download the material you need before travelling and test playback without a connection. Paid content still requires premium access.
Add vocabulary practice to your course
Vocabcord fits alongside a course, tutor or conversation practice. It provides prepared audio and favours entries you have not heard recently. It does not quiz you, grade your pronunciation, teach a complete grammar course or import decks from another app. Listening history records what you have heard, rather than proving what you remember.
